I am honored and proud to serve as the Principal of Infinity Early College High School. I completed my undergraduate work at Sam Houston State University, and continued my graduate studies at Lamar University where I obtained the following degrees: Master of Education in Educational Administration and Master of Education in School Counseling. I consider myself a lifelong learner. Education is a powerful force! It can break barriers, unleash potential, and transform lives.

I began my career in education in the spring of 2003 as an 8th grade English teacher at Keefer Crossing Middle School. NCISD believes in growing leaders. Prior to working at IECHS, I was able to develop my leadership skills. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I served as a Master Teacher/Instructional Coach at KCMS. I consider it a privilege to lead with a servant’s heart. I am known as the “Encouraging Educator” who understands the importance of making connections and building relationships.

Personally, I was raised in the Coldspring area. I am a proud graduate of Coldspring High School. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, shopping, and singing. I love spending time with my wonderful family and participating in various church activities.

IECHS is an amazing place to work. I’m happy to be a part of the IECHS family and look forward to an exciting school year! I am walking in my purpose and I love it!

Greetings! I am excited and honored to be the Assistant Principal at Infinity Early College High School. I earned my undergraduate degree in history at Iowa State University and a master’s in teaching and learning from the University of Iowa. Currently, I am working on a second master’s degree in American history at Gettysburg College. Like many students on our campus, I am a first-generation college student. I love Infinity because it offers students a tremendous opportunity to earn their high school diploma and associate’s degree in a small, family-like environment.

My journey in education began 19 years ago as an 8th-grade US history teacher. For the past 16 years, I have been dedicated to early college high schools, primarily teaching dual-credit US history. In my early college career, I have had the privilege of serving as a department chair and an instructional coach. I previously had the good fortune of coaching Infinity’s boys’ cross-country team before becoming the Assistant Principal. I am also an adjunct professor of EDUC 1300 at Lone Star College-Kingwood.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, fishing, barbequing, watching college football and wrestling, and spending time with my amazing family.

It is a privilege to serve the close-knit community of Infinity ECHS. I am deeply committed to fostering the strong relationships that are the backbone of Infinity’s success. At Infinity, we take pride in the family-like environment of the school, a value that resonates with me personally. I truly consider it an honor to work at a school with such amazing students and staff.
