Testing

STAAR and End of Course (EOC) results can be accessed through Skyward Family Access with the Single Sign on Feature.  The directions are below to utilize the feature.

Student's scores can also be found online Texas Assessment Family Portal  by using your child's unique access code, birth date, and legal first name.

Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) 

TSIA is designed to help your high school, college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics.  Click here for more information about the Texas Success Initiative program.  

IECHS Administration

At IECHS, we're dedicated to equipping students for success in the early college environment, which involves taking college courses. To meet the TSI requirements, our students have the opportunity to take the TSI assessment once a month. For those needing extra support, tailored math or reading classes are available, offering personalized instructional interventions. Additionally, these students have the chance to retest once a month. Please contact our TSI Coordinator Nancy Castaneda for more information.

Ordering the AP Exam

• AP teachers will work with students to create or log into their MyAP account and join the AP Classroom for their courses.

• note:  if this process is not completed by the due date, an exam may not be ordered
• All AP students must be registered by the fall semester

PSAT 10 

As New Caney ISD, strives to prepare students for education beyond high school.  The district will be administering the PSAT 10 test to students in cohort 2027 (or 10th graders).  This test will be offered to students during school.  This test is multiple choice  and consists of 3 sections; Reading, Writing and Language, and Math.  The test is now only given online.  Click here for more information about the PSAT 10 test.

In School SAT 

New Caney ISD will be offering the In School SAT test at no charge to juniors. 

Accommodations

SAT is part of the College Board Suite of assessment.  To utilize accommodations for this test, a request needs to be submitted and be approved by the College Board prior to the test date.
